Three days in the name of comics and the most beloved characters in the world of fantasy. The period houses and fort in the village of Bard will host the first edition of FantasyBard from 13 to 15 August 2023, with exhibitions, shows and encounters, as well as a market area with publishing houses specialising in the sector.

There will be plenty of stands with comic book artists, presentations and authors who will be drawing the audience’s favourite characters live. Also on the programme are lectures and meetings with artists, nationally renowned writers and three exhibitions. The exhibitions in the village will be dedicated to two icons of comics and cinema — Diabolik (Astorina) and Dampyr (Bonelli) — while the military chapel at Fort Bard will hold a retrospective of original plates and drawings dedicated to The Avengers entitled 60 Years of Superheroes. Workshops for children are also planned during the event.
