Richard Long, Pol Bury, Tony Cragg, Aristide Maillol, Steve McCurry are just some of the artists’ names of international players in the new cultural project signed by Forte di Bard and called FdB Modern.
Artworks on display are arranged in different area of the Fortress (indoor and outdoor) and they represent free loans from collectors, European institutions and acquisitions.
“The relationship started in recent years with major institutions and private collections. The prestige and credibility of the Fortress of Bard as venue of an international character allowed some valuable works of art to remain heritage of the fortress. These valuable works of art can now be admired by visitors going further discovering new spaces within the fort” says Augusto Rollandin, Fortress of Bard President.
The works of art are located in the inner rooms and they will be open for guided tours and customized during private events.
